Arlington Soccer Association announced today that it is joining the Girls Academy (GA) for its elite girls program. The GA has unified more than 50 of the 60 former girls Development Academy clubs to create a national platform which will provide an opportunity for clubs to continue their high level of competition while adding flexibility in areas that will enhance player development.
Arlington Soccer Girls GA Director, Nicci Wright, shares: "Arlington Soccer is excited that our elite girls program will continue to compete on the national level as a member of the Girls Academy League. The Arlington Soccer elite program focuses on player development, including the opportunity to compete with the top clubs in the country, as well as a strong college pathway for our players. We are thrilled with the opportunity to join the other Development Academy teams in our unified commitment to maintain the high standards of the GA with the ultimate goal of providing the best environment for our players."
Arlington Soccer joins fellow returning DA Atlantic Conference clubs Baltimore Armour, Cedar Stars-Monmouth, FCV, Metro, PA Classics and South Jersey Elite Barons.
