Arlington’s 2003 Girls Pre-DA team punched its ticket to the Eastern Regional Championships, held June 28-July 4 in Charleston, WV, through its outstanding record in the EDP Atlantic Development league. Arlington went undefeated in 10 games and concluded with a record of 9 wins – 0 losses – 1 tie, scoring 31 goals and conceding only 1.
The team consists of Amelie Kovacevic, Brenna Meehan, Eliza Franklin, Emma Bates, Emma Koppelman, Emma Ricchetti, Grace Franklin, Jackie Turner, Katy Talotta, Lauren Bouchoux, Lilly Neubauer, Megan Munson, Michaela McCormack, Nora Green-Orset, Olivia Duvall, Sarah Watchman, and Summer Sanie, and is coached by Mo Tayari.
Coach Mo said of his team, “I’m so proud of these girls. Their character, discipline, and commitment allowed them to succeed and have an impressive record this year.”
The team also participated in the National League (1 – 1 – 5) and is currently at the top of standings for the EDP South Atlantic Premier I league (6 – 1 – 0) with two remaining games.
