 D.C. United Community Soccer Day
is a FREE soccer clinic led by D.C. United players for kids
ages 8 to 16.
The event is hosted by the
Arlington Soccer Association.
It is open to the first 200 kids who
register.

ASA Scholarship to
Referee Stephen Lastova
 Stephen Lastova was honored by
the ASA Board of Directors with a scholarship award on
Thursday, May 8th.
Harvey Snyder, ASA Referee
Commissioner, presented the award. He praised Stephen
for his outstanding work for more than 80 soccer
games. Harvey said, "Stephen continues to receive the
highest coach ratings of any of our refs. I thank him
for continuing to set a supreme example for all our
refs." Harvey described one of Stephen's first
games when he was 13 and issued a red card to a
coach.
In April, Harvey Snyder honored the
2008 Referees of
the Year -- Mariya
Chatha, Andrew Hienzman, C. J. Ritman and Alice
Zytek. |
