Wes Windsor

2007 Boys Coach

Wes has coached players of all ages in Arlington over the past 10 years. Wes graduated from Furman University in 2004 with a degree in political science. At Furman, he played for Doug Allison from 2001-2004 at the NCAA Division 1 level.  Wes was a member of the 2001-2002 Southern Conference Tournament championship teams and the 2002 team reached the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Wes played briefly for Harrisburg City Islanders in USL-2.

Wes has coached multiple camps/showcases affiliated with college and professional clubs, including DC United. He served as an assistant coach with Arlington Impact coached by then DC United assistant coach Amos Magee. The Impact reached the semi-finals of the 2015 USYS National League Championship held in Dallas, Texas. He holds multiple coaching licenses including the NSCAA National Diploma, the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, a USSF “B” License and USSF “A” License.
