Torey is the current Director of Performance for Capstone Performance Training in Falls Church, VA. His training focuses on corrective exercises, functional movement patterns, mobility, strength, speed, and conditioning.
He was born and raised in McLean, Virginia and played soccer and football for McLean High School from 2004-07, during which time he was team captain and MVP. Simultaneously, he played on the DC United Super Y Soccer team from 2005 to 2009. Torey played Division 1 soccer at the University of Kentucky for two seasons then transferred to finish his career at James Madison University. He graduated from JMU with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management.
Torey has an extensive background in performance and youth coaching. He has a certification in Personal Training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Sports Performance Association, and USA Weightlifting. He currently holds a USSF D Coaching License.
Torey has had experience coaching various age groups in both travel and high school soccer. He has created and run a variety of camps and clinics and was named the Arlington Soccer Assistant Coach of the Year in 2016.
