Arlington Soccer Hosts US Soccer ID Center
Arlington Soccer is excited to host a US Soccer ID Center on Wednesday, May 8 at Long Bridge Park.
U.S. Soccer YNT Identification Centers (IDCs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers. IDCs are a critical element to the U.S. Soccer development model and are designed to improve talent identification and evaluation, player development, and coaching development. Approximately 100 regional sessions are conducted per year in key markets throughout the country.
U.S. Soccer YNT Identification Centers are designed to replicate Youth National Team camps.
As the National Governing Body of soccer in the United States, and under the auspices of the United States Olympic Committee, we are empowered and charged with developing the teams that represent the United States in all international competitions such as the Olympics and World Cup. The YNT Identification Center Program is an integral part of this process.
QUOTE FROM ARLINGTON SOCCER TRAVEL DIRECTOR GERMAN PERI: “We are pleased to support and keep working with US Soccer by hosting the YNT US Soccer Training Centers on May 8th (Boys) and 22nd (Girls). It is important for us to provide the best options for our players to reach the highest levels of soccer. We are very proud of our Arlington Boys and Girls that have been invited and identified by US Soccer to attend these events. This is a great testament to the quality of our program and the work the staff and players are putting in.”
