We are deeply disturbed by the news regarding Ernesto Mercado, who was a volunteer with Arlington Soccer Association. Mr. Mercado was a volunteer from March 2019 to June 2024, and during his time with us, we were not aware of any allegations or concerns regarding his conduct. Arlington Soccer Association conducts thorough background checks on all of our volunteers, and we remain committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of all participants in our programs.
