Reese Montgomery
Reese is graduating from Yorktown High School as Valedictorian and will be attending Davidson College. Reese started at the U6 level with the Arlington Aces in 2012 and is currently named to the WPSL Semi Pro team.

“Arlington got to see me grow from a little girl who just loved the game of soccer into the soccer player I am today. Despite having numerous league changes, age group changes, and teammate changes, Arlington has been a stable home and crucial part of my childhood. Throughout my ups and downs in soccer, the Arlington coaching staff and community have provided me with continuous support. I have grown not only as a soccer player, but as a person, teammate, and friend. With a few teammates who started and finished our club careers together at Arlington and many new teammates who have joined on the way, I have truly made special friendships I will value for life. Having played soccer my entire life, collegiate soccer has always been my ultimate goal. Right before June 15th of my sophomore year of high school, I faced a difficult 6 month injury where I broke my foot and was forced to watch from the bench in a boot. Feeling as though all of my hard work would be crushed because of this injury in the most important time for recruiting, I was devastated, but Arlington was there for me. Each of my coaches and mentors at Arlington put in tremendous work to help me achieve my goal of playing D1 soccer at Davidson College. I have Arlington to thank for teaching me resilience, leadership, hard work, and most of all love for the game and my teammates. I am indebted to Arlington for fostering a continued love for a game I started playing in the backyard with my siblings.”
