The third annual Arlington Soccerfest presented by Amazon was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who attended on Monday! Despite the wind, we had a blast as hundreds of children and their families enjoyed a day full of contests, small-sided games, music, bounce houses, dunk tanks and more!

Thanks again to all our staff - including our coaches who braved the chilly dunk tank! - volunteers and partners for making this such a fun event! A special thanks to Accenture who provided dozens of volunteers and to Soccerfest partners: Amazon, Wheat's Landscape, John Marshall Bank, Pitch Invaders, Invest529, Rehab2Perform, Dogtopia of Falls Church, Lindsay Chevrolet, MSA, Demosphere, Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting, Score Sports, Washington Spirit, D.C. United, Loudoun United, DC Power, Virginia Youth Soccer Association and the Arlington County Sheriff's Office! We could not have had such an amazing day without your support!

The goal of the event was to bring the community together to celebrate, have fun, enjoy soccer and raise funds for the Kenmore Fields turf conversion! We did just that by raising more than $36,000! Thank you all so much for your generosity and support! And there is still time to donate! Team fundraising runs through Nov. 1! 2012 Girls Blue is currently the top fundraising team! Help us continue to raise funds for Kenmore as the top three fundraising teams will win awesome prizes: team pizza party, team-building outing at local adventure parks and a team training session at the new Arlington Soccer training center! Donate here!
